European Comenius project 2011-13
During the years 2011-13 our school took pari in the European Comenius project under the title "Creativity in a Digital World". The organizing school was the Zaklandi Skolo profesora Svejcara v Praze 12 from Prague, the Czech Republic. Seven more European schools took part in this project, the followin

The aim of this project was to improve the students and the teachers' digital skills, through certain activities such as: the Cinderella fairy tale, according to the concept each school had on this and also the promotion of each school under the title "Selling our school". Here we mentioned the advantages of each school and why anyone would be interested in "buying" it. Here is the presentation of "Selling our school" which our students created.
Also, with the help of other free presentation software, our students created presentations and project which had been agreed on at each partner meeting. For this program 27 students in total travelled abroad and 8 teachers as well. Our first visit was to the partner school Οsnovan sole Miska Kranjca - in Ljiubljiana, Slovenia. The reception and hospitality of the families there were exceptional! Here is the video we created from our visit to Slovenia.
On our second visit aborad, we visited the school complex Instituto Comprensivo San Roco, in the town of Faenza, Italy. We also visited the historical city of Ravenna and our students excelled at traditional dances we presented to our friends in Italy. We also had the chance to present our coutnry with a video which was fully filmed from a helicopter. Here is the video from our visit to Faenza.
